Office Manager Vacancy

Paraparaumu College is a proudly co-educational school of around 1,350 students situated on the beautiful Kāpiti Coast.  We enjoy a spacious campus with a growing roll, an innovative approach to learning, and a commitment to achieving the highest equitable outcomes for our students.

Our front office is the welcoming hub where students, staff, parents, whānau and visitors come for help and information.  We are looking for an Office Manager to join our friendly front office team in a lead role where delivering outstanding service is our priority.

The Office Manager is responsible for managing the main college office and leading the office team to provide high quality administrative and financial support services and personal, friendly assistance.  The role is varied and takes on important first aid, health and safety and emergency management functions.

You may already have experience working in a school or college and managing an office.  You will be familiar with office systems and processes, ensuring that they are as effective and efficient as possible.  If you enjoy a busy, dynamic, team environment where you will be hands-on as well as supporting and developing staff, and you understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality and security of information, then this may be the role for you.

This is a 35 hour a week (negotiable), term time only, position, starting in Term 3 2020.
