Paid Union Meeting – Tuesday 29 November

A series of Paid Union Meetings has been called nationally by PPTA (Post Primary Teachers Association) to discuss matters relating to the new collective employment agreement negotiations. The current agreement has expired and all branches have been directed to hold Paid Union Meetings to consider matters relating to the current claim.

All members of PPTA are required to attend the meeting which, in our case, will be held on the morning of Tuesday 29 November. . This meeting is an official paid union meeting under the conditions of the teachers’ present employment agreement.  It is not industrial action.

It has been decided that usual classes will not operate on the morning of Tuesday 29 November.

Classes will commence with Period 4 at 1:15pm.
