Science Technician Vacancy

We have a 30 hour per week (during school terms) Science Technician position available from the start of Term 1 2021.  This is not a teaching position and no teaching qualifications are required.

The Science Technician plays an important role in our Science Department, supporting the teachers and students and managing the risks associated with our science laboratories.  The role is varied and will include preparing equipment, chemicals and resources for classroom practical activities; maintaining operational safety in the science laboratories; and making sure all safety, storage and disposal requirements for our chemicals and equipment are followed.

This position will likely suit someone who has worked in a laboratory, has experience with workplace health and safety requirements and has a Science qualification.
