We are delighted that you are thinking of coming to Paraparaumu College on the beautiful Kāpiti Coast,  a 45 minute drive from Wellington, New Zealand’s capital city.  Paraparaumu College provides a world-class education and accepts international students aged 14-19 (Year 10-13).  We have a modern, successful curriculum and provide individual support to help students achieve their academic, university, career and extra curricular goals.

Paraparaumu College is a co-educational high school, with a roll of 1400,  that achieves excellent outcomes for its students. Our school offers high quality facilities in a beautiful coastal beach setting.  Last year our school achieved 33 scholarships which places us in the highest co-educational Wellington schools for the third year running.

The Kāpiti Coast provides an excellent balance between large city facilities and the more relaxed lifestyle found in provincial New Zealand. The area is known for its beaches, rivers, mountains and forests providing opportunities for adventure activities such as kayaking, boating, biking and walking tracks.  We also have parks, sports fields, swimming pools, golf clubs and equestrian opportunities.  The Coast is also known for its vibrant arts culture. About Paraparaumu College’s international student programme

Paraparaumu College offers a small personalised international student programme that prides itself in getting to know each student during their time at the College. Each student that comes to the College joins our whānau (family) and is important to us.
